How the platform's data is collected, checked and presented.
Priority order: 1) the results of the Dakar 2026 Organising Committee (medals, times, statuses, athlete lists); 2) for events it has not published yet, automated collection from Wikipedia (official API, CC BY-SA 4.0). The IOC reference figures are shown for comparison. Every result keeps its source, a link to the exact page and its collection date.
Every medal is validated (known NOC code, medal sport, no duplicate, at most two medals of a colour per event). The standings computed event by event are continuously compared with the table published by the source.
"Provisional": collected, not yet verified. "Confirmed": unchanged until midnight (Dakar time) and consistent with the source's table. "Official": published with "Official Results" status by the Organising Committee's results system, or checked by an administrator against official results. Status, source and collection date are shown for every result.
Olympic order: gold, then silver, then bronze; tied delegations share the same rank. A team medal counts once.
The source is community-edited: a slight delay versus official results is possible. Athlete profiles cover medallists and the entrants published by the source, with the source and status of every result. The IOC's official feed (ODF) is not used, for lack of a licence.
Independent platform developed by MT Integra Consulting. No affiliation with the IOC or the Dakar 2026 Organising Committee; no protected Olympic mark is used.
